The partner at Makerere University received 25 Dell Optiplex 380 Mini Tower desktop computers with Window 7 operating subsystem. These were installed in one of the rooms allocated by the Department of Agricultural Production, School of Agricultural Sciences
College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, under the new collegiate system.
These are already functional and are being used for: 1. Supporting post graduate students conducting research in soils, watershed, crop and animal sciences 2. Conducting practicals associated to use of computers like GIS and modelling 3. Internet browsing

Furthermore three ‘Dell Latitude E5400’ laptops were purchased that were
given to PhD and MSc students to facilitate watershed related research.
An HP LaserJet 2055DN Network Printer (black and white) with a
Print Speed of Up to 33 ppm and with a Laser technology and an HP
Colour LaserJet CP2025DN Printer were received. These are being used to
facilitate the Project activities and to some extent support students in
printing research papers while conducting watershed related research.
